Culture
The world “culture” comes from the Latin term “cultura”, which means “cultivation” or “agriculture”. Today, we use the term to describe everything that is cultivated from human design –including through the thoughtful use of the natural kingdoms. In this humble sense, modern-day WALA is more of a cultural than an industrial enterprise. We see an individual’s health and beauty not as a product, but as a process. And we see ourselves not as manufacturers, but as designers. Perhaps that is why we count so many creative people among our employees and customers.
